I got this note in my inbox from Paula Chambers, the founder of the WRK4US listserv (and if you’ve never heard of it, go check it out here–use the same site if you decide you want to tune in to the email discussion Paula describes below).
Careers in Market Research is the topic of an email discussion to take place Monday June 1 through Friday June 5, 2009, on the Work For Us listserv. Joining us as panelists will be three market research professionals, all with PhDs in humanities or social science (Theater & Drama, Anthropology and Political Science). They will share their stories on Monday June 1, then answer your questions by email all week till Friday June 5.
If you are a grad student, postdoc, or faculty member in humanities or the humanistic social sciences, this discussion will give you quality information about the field of Market Research plus access to real live market researchers who understand your background and will answer your questions about the field.
